Tacoma Art Place is 100% volunteer supported. If you enjoy volunteering and love art, introduce yourself and get involved. This center is modeled after a co-op a group of Tacoma area community leaders visited in Mali, West Africa. Honestly it’s one thing going to Africa to study an arts co-op’s contributions to poverty reduction, community building and economic vitality. It’s another undertaking all together to start a non-profit art center from the ground up in Tacoma. To help Tacoma Art Place fulfill its potential, we need your help.

Who we need to volunteer:
Helpful people to work member reception, like a docent.
Art  teachers, all genres.  We also could use help on committees with things like marketing and on special projects.
